Under the guidance and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Department of Culture & Information of Sharjah organizes the Sharjah International Art Biennial in Sharjah, UAE, once every two years, starting from 1993. The upcoming 5th session of this prestigious event is set to take place from April 17th to 24th, 2001.
